Hey Everyone,

Its been awhile, sorry for that! We have received some questions pertaining to when people will receive their order. Right now, that is all relative as we are still waiting on 60 surveys that need to be finished. For those that have not done it, please get this done as soon as possible as there are people eagerly waiting for their VanJohan’s to arrive!

With that being said we have started the initial stages of manufacturing, as there are various steps to go through in relation to quality control and procedure. Due to our underwear being a newer design, there were several steps that needed to be completed before the initial sewing stages take place. This included quality control on the lab dips for colour and making sure the final samples were graded accordingly so that sizes match up. We have listed the procedures below!

1. A final prototype with correct colors to sign off on as the RED seal sample in which we confirm the final product details.

2. Then a FIT sample of the base size with correct material to comment and approve on.

3. Then will follow with the spec and grading rule and submit the size set for approval before moving to production.

4. Prior to production, will send a PP sample pulled out from the pilot run, upon my signature which will serve as GREEN seal sample.

These steps were all new to us as we never went through this with the first manufacturer we had when initially starting out. We are happy that we have an organization that we can work with that makes sure the underwear comes out looking good and feeling good. we really appreciate the patience that you have all shown towards us, it’s much appreciated.

We are currently in part 3/4 of this process, waiting to go into final production once the surveys are complete. If we do not get a response from everyone soon then we will still proceed with production as you all have been more than patient and deserve your VanJohan’s! Our manufacturer is going to be sending us some photos of the process which we will then share with you so that you can keep following along during this process!

Hi Everyone,

Happy New Year and all the best in 2018!

Our surveys were sent out just over a week a week ago and close to 82% of them have been completed, keep them coming folks :) ! If you have not received an email with the survey in it, please send us a message and we will send you a recovery survey so that you can get yours in.

We have begun the manufacturing process with the dyeing of the fabrics into our 3 colors. Once this is completed we will then give them confirmation and proceed with production. We are super excited for this to happen as the design of VanJohan took a long time to get right. This included many prototypes and feedback from people who have worn them. We really do hope you enjoy them and that VanJohan becomes a staple in your dresser!

It's time for Surveys!

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update! We are almost done creating our survey and they will be sent out very soon!!! Make sure you send them back to us as quickly as possible.

We had to wait about a week for some payments to come through before we could send out the survey. Once this is done we can give the green light for production to happen. Originally we thought we could get this done earlier but it would require us to take on a bunch of inventory which would ultimately really hurt cash-flow. We figured it would be best to hold off, put ourselves in a great position moving forward and make sure your underwear is made properly. We are newer to this process and are doing everything we can to make this as smooth as possible. We thank you for sticking around and bearing with us, stay awesome!

Every week we will post an update about everything that is happening with VanJohan. We would love to hear your input about future colours or patterns you'd like to see. For example, would you prefer many different waistband styles with only a couple fabric colors or just a couple waistband styles with many different fabric colors/patterns? This information will help us tailor our collection to what you want! That's it for now, I hope you all have a great holiday :).

Hey Everyone,

First off, I just want to thank you all for supporting us through our campaign! It turned out to be quite a successful one as we were able to blow by our initial goal and finished just shy of 30K!

In the next couple of days, we will be working on a survey so that you can choose your colour and size for each pair you ordered. For those of you who are familiar with Kickstarter, the experience of creating a survey can quickly turn into a burden for both backers and creators if not done properly. We want to get it right the first time! We are also working diligently to try and have product out to you all in a timely manner. Remember, when you receive your surveys it is very important to send them back as quick as possible. In the meantime, here are some other cool kickstarter projects you may be interested in!
